Update on Shaela

I thought I'd update you on Kelly's friend Shaela. Shaela's condition is gradually improving. She was taken off of the ventilator and is breathing on her own now. They took the stitches out of her face. One eye is completely gone, but the doctors still have hope for the other eye as her optic nerve remains intact. She is being kept sedated for now because of the pain of her injuries, but she has responded with a word or two occasionally. Her family has said that she is recovering remarkably well, and that her injuries are healing up surprisingly well. Please continue to find a spot in your prayers for her and her family.
